So I built four agents instead.
Meet My Team

Neo researches. Give him a question or a market — he returns clean insight, real signal, not noise.
Jobs writes. Give him a brief and a reader — the first draft already carries tone and soul, better than most humans after three painful revisions.
Woz builds. Code, GitHub, deployments. He pushes while I think ahead.
Trinity conducts. Like a conductor cueing the orchestra, she sequences it all: research first, then writing, then publish. No dropped handoffs. No waiting.
(Yes, I named the conductor after my daughter. It felt right.)
They run on OpenClaw, wired together with n8n, memory stored in Supabase. Smart, boring engineering applied to the deepest human need — doing more than one person was ever supposed to do.
And the speed? Insane.
Woz writes the code. It flows straight to GitHub, then automatically to staging, through tests, and one click to production on Cloudflare Pages. A full professional web application — live, clickable, ready for the client — ships in four hours. Not a mockup. Real.
Client wants a change at 9am? It’s live by 10am. No sprints. No release windows. No waiting.
The same system hits the hard stuff.
HappyHome lives in a regulated world — NDIS, aged care, compliance, policies, agreements. Normally that demands lawyers and weeks of pain.
It took hours.
Twenty-eight documents researched, drafted, and structured. All synthesised by the agents, then reviewed by me. The heavy lifting vanished. The soul stayed.
Even the cost collapsed. Three websites, three CRMs, automation pipelines, databases, full CI/CD — all running on free tiers and a laptop. Close to zero every month.
Extraordinary things happen when the infrastructure simply gets out of the way.
What I Still Own
Here’s what nobody tells you.
The agents are insanely great at production.
But the direction? That’s mine. Always.
The brief. The judgment call on whether it feels right. The real human conversation with a client, a carer, a parent enrolling their child. The decision to ship or hold back.
I am the director. I don’t hold the camera. I don’t mix the sound. But without my taste and vision, none of it has soul.
I focus on three things: deciding what truly matters, reviewing what comes back, and showing up where only a human can.
Claude helps keep the sprints clean. It breaks the work down, tracks what shipped, what didn’t, and keeps the context so my head stays clear. But the decisions? Still mine.
The Real Barrier Isn’t the Tools
The tools are here. The infrastructure is ready. The cost is almost zero.
None of that is the hard part.
The hard part is deciding.
Deciding to back yourself when there’s no team to share the blame. Deciding to ship anyway. Deciding to hear “no” directly and own every outcome personally.
Most people won’t. Not because they lack agents. Because fear wins.
Fear of looking foolish. Fear of real accountability. Fear of being seen trying alone.
AI removes every execution barrier. It does not remove fear.
That work is still yours. No excuses.
The ones who win aren’t the best coders or the slickest marketers. They’re the best operators. Decisive. Focused. Comfortable with full accountability. Able to direct the system and trust their own gut.
You don’t need a big team to start.
You need a decision.
Why This Changes Everything
For most of human history, leverage required capital. You needed money to hire people, and people to do the work. Your ambition was capped by your bank account.
That era is over.
One determined person with clarity, taste, and the right system can now operate at the scale of an entire department. The barrier to building something real — something that serves customers, generates revenue, creates real value — has collapsed.
